1. Here’s Why You Should Explore Niche Markets
==========================================================
For some odd reason most of us are constantly
attracted to selling “make money” products to other
people who want to do the same and so on and so
on.
It’s like everyone is mining for gold, and the
people making the dough are the ones who are
selling shovels to the miners.
That’s why I’ve been telling you for a while
to explore other markets as well.
I’m not saying that you should ditch internet
marketing all together. Personally, I enjoy
it and continue doing it.
Also, we keep learning so much in internet
marketing that gives us an edge when entering
new markets.
But *don’t do ONLY internet marketing*.
Why?
The competition is so enormous and so cut throat
that every marketer is giving away the farm for
free in order to differentiate.
What’s wrong with that you say?
Well, people get spoiled. You might be sending
high quality free stuff, and they’ll still
complain.
But that’s the nature of the beast.
I’ve been involved in some niche markets and
let me tell you… it’s so awesome to receive
emails to your autoresponder messages, telling
you that they enjoyed your newsletter and your
recommendations.
People in other markets are not inundated with
information and constant emails so they are much
more polite and less “sales-resistant”.
Here’s my most important advice for doing niche
marketing:
Don’t ever reveal your niches to anyone!
I see people in internet marketing forums making
posts that go something like that:
“Hey I make $3,000/month within this tiny
niche, give me some tips for improvements”
They are inviting unnecessary competition.
I’m reviewing a couple of tools for niche
marketing right now.
If I’m happy with them I’ll let you know about
them in a couple of days.
